Novam Jobs

Verified remote jobs, without the scams and ghost posts.

Searching for remote work shouldn't mean sorting real jobs from traps. Novam Jobs checks employers before their jobs go live, requires pay on every listing and removes listings that go stale.

The problem with most remote job boards

Remote job boards have three recurring problems. Scam listings, which ask for money, bank details or a copy of your ID before any real hiring happens. Ghost jobs, which stay up for months after the role is filled or was never going to be. And data harvesting, where applying puts your resume in a database that anyone can buy access to.

None of these are rare. They are what happens when posting is free and nobody checks who is posting.

How employers are verified here

Work email

Employers sign up with an address on their own company domain. Free email addresses are not accepted.

Domain ownership

They prove they control the company website by adding a short code to its DNS or homepage.

Domain age and site health

We check how old the domain is and that the site is reachable and secure. New domains get a closer look.

Business identity

Legal name, country, registration number and LinkedIn page are recorded.

Payment method on file

A real card is required. It is a small barrier for scammers and none for real businesses.

Risk screen

Profiles and job posts are screened for pay-to-apply, check and crypto schemes, reshipping, MLM and requests for bank or ID details.

What we do about ghost posts and data

  • Pay is required on every job. No competitive salary with no number.
  • Jobs expire after 30 days unless the employer confirms they are still hiring.
  • Each employer's response rate and typical response time show on their jobs.
  • There is no resume database. Employers only see people who applied to them.
  • Your phone and email stay hidden until you apply to that employer's job.
  • Three reports automatically pause a job until our team reviews it.

No system is perfect

Verification lowers risk; it does not remove it. Keep your own guard up: never pay to apply, never share bank or ID details before a signed offer, and be suspicious of anyone who moves the conversation to a messaging app and urges you to hurry. If something looks wrong, use the report button on the job or email support@novam.us. Our guide to spotting remote job scams lists the red flags in detail.

Frequently asked questions

What does verified mean on Novam Jobs?

The employer passed our checks: work email, proof of control over their domain, a business identity record and a payment method on file, plus a risk screen of their jobs.

Can a scam still get through?

It is possible for any job board. We screen posts, let candidates report listings and pause jobs automatically after three reports. Treat any request for money or bank or ID details as a red flag.

Why do you show the pay?

Hidden pay wastes everyone's time. Salary is required on every listing.

How do you stop ghost jobs?

Listings expire after 30 days unless the employer confirms they are still hiring, and response rates are public.

Is it free for job seekers?

Yes. Candidates are always free.
